APhA-ASP's 2nd General Meeting will be held in-person in Tuesday, October 4 (Tomorrow), W204 (Reed Hall)from12:30pm - 1:30pm.Dr. Allison Burns, MPhA representative, will join us to discuss MPhA membership benefits and how student pharmacists can get involved on the state level. Food will be provided!


Allison Burns is a Navy veteran, pharmacist, and President & CEO of EMO Health.  She graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2009 and later turned in her military uniform for a white coat, and earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. She is a certified recovery coach trainer and adjunct faculty member at Northeastern University and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences.  After running a 95-bed addiction treatment facility, Allison developed a medication management and technical assistance model of care that currently supports over 5,900 treatment beds in Massachusetts. In 2020, she was named "Pharmacist of the Year” by Pharmacy Times for her innovative solutions to improve public health. We are very excited to welcome her and we hope to see you all!



APhA-ASP and PLS are hosting a Zoom webinar with a panel of student speakers in the PharmD program on APPE and IPPE rotations. The event will be virtual. Join us to learn more about the students' experiences during rotations and their career plans after graduation. Students of all years are welcome!

Join our 2nd yoga session series hosted by Operation Diabetes and led by Dr. Shrinal Patel! Join for a chance to learn and perform yoga, learn more about the benefits of yoga, and how yoga can improve your health!

Midyear Regional Meeting (MRM2022) registration is now OPEN! This is a great opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the pharmacy profession!

  • Establish meaningful connections with student pharmacists from other chapters!

  • Network with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in the career field!

MRM2022 will take place at Bristol, CT and will be starting October 28th - ending October 30th.
