**Updated Time** Breathe Strong Workshop Series Please join us on November 17th from 7-8pm EST in a continuation of the Breathe Strong Workshop Series from last year in collaboration with CPNP. Our guest speaker, Vivek, will hold a discussion on how to manage stress and then lead a guided meditation session. Three active participants will be randomly selected to chose from a list of prizes including yoga mats, candles, bath bombs, and paint sets.

Financial Literacy Education Session

Please join us today, Tuesday November 16th from 6-7pm EST for a 1-hour webinar where two MCPHS postdoctoral fellows, Hannah Kim and Kevin Luo, discuss some financial topics and how they may be applicable to pharmacy students. The curriculum was based on a gap analysis survey and will be applicable to pharmacy students of all financial literacy levels. Lastly, this webinar will conclude with a live Q&A. Please feel free to join and forward to others. We hope to see you there!



OTC Medications for HTN Patients

Join us on November 18th from 11:00am to 2pm in Matricaria Lobby for our poster presentation on OTC medications for hypertension patients.



ADA Diabetes Crash Course Session APhA-ASP Operation Diabetes invites you to a diabetes crash course session with Rachael Gibbons who joins us from the American Diabetes Association (ADA) on November 18th from 6-7pm EST. Together with her we will discuss:

- Important facts regarding diabetes management and prevention;

- How the American Diabetes Association factors into this; and

- Ways to get involved and volunteer with ADA.

After the discussion, we will play a Kahoot game on the information that was presented. Kahoot winners will receive a prize. Click here for the Zoom link.



Student Pharmacist Writing Contest Welcome to the APhA-ASP Student Pharmacist Writing Contest! This is an opportunity for you to develop your writing skills as student pharmacists and tell us why pharmacy is important to you. This contest is open to 3rd year to 6th year students (P1 - P4) in the professional years of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at MCPHS. Each student is only eligible for one entry. Click here for the application link. Contest entries will be open from November 1 to 11:59PM on November 21, 2021. Period. End the Menstrual Inequity Menstrual Hygiene Poverty is happening here, in the U.S. and MA! In Period. End the Menstrual Inequity, a representative from Dignity Matters will talk about the concept of period poverty and the situation in the U.S, MA, and abroad! We will watch an award-winning short film, "Period. End of Sentence." during the meeting. After the film is a debriefing and Q&A session. Everyone is welcome! End the Period Inequity Donation Drive As part of the menstrual hygiene poverty project, Women's Health is having an End the Period Inequity Donation Drive now, and it will last until the last day before Thanksgiving break! All the donations will go to Dignity Matters, a non-profit organization that has taken the lead in tackling this public health issue. Please take a look at the attached flyer to see how to help with this issue.



2021 Vampire Cup APhA-ASP is hosting a Vampire Cup where students can submit a form with their blood donation information to win a prize!
